Casino Bonus Terms and Wagering Analyst

I price casino welcome offers against the terms attached to them, which usually means dividing a large advertised percentage by a wagering requirement and reporting what is left.

Background

I spent four years on the reconciliation side of a payments team before I wrote a word about this industry. That job meant seeing promotions from the wrong end: the voided withdrawal, the support ticket that said bonus funds were not eligible, the player who believed he had won three thousand euro and had done nothing wrong except deposit before opting in. Nobody had lied to him. The terms were public. They were also four screens down.

That is the gap I write about. Not whether an operator is trustworthy, which I cannot verify, but what its offer actually costs to clear and whether the number in the advert still matches the number in the table.

What I cover

What I will not write

I will not call an operator safe. I do not know that, and neither does anyone quoting a licence number at you. I will not quote a bonus figure I cannot trace to a source I can name, which is why some cells on our comparison tables are empty rather than estimated. And I will not describe an offer as generous before dividing it by its playthrough.

How to reach me

Corrections are welcome and I would rather hear about a stale figure than leave it up. Write to editorial@beastybike.eu or use the contact page. Our rating method sets out exactly what we check and what we refuse to claim.
